Privacy Policy

Your clients and your listings are your business. This page says exactly what Ruaab collects, where it goes, and how to remove it.

Last Updated: October 2026

1. Your clients stay yours

We never sell your data, and we never show your clients' names or phone numbers to other brokers, property portals or advertisers.

  • The broker network. Ruaab can match your buyers with listings held by other Ruaab brokers, and your listings with their buyers. For this, a summary of a listing or a client's requirement — area, budget, size, rent or sale — is compared on our servers and may be shown to the other broker. Your client's name and number are never part of it, and neither are a listing's public page link, its description or your notes.
  • You choose. The app asks you once whether to take part. Say no and none of your listings or clients are matched with other brokers, and you are not shown theirs. Change your answer at any time in Settings → Share with Broker Network, or take out a single listing or client while staying in.
  • Until you answer, your listings and requirements are in the network, as they have been since it started. If you are on an older version of the app that does not ask, email us and we will take all of yours out.
  • If another broker asks to work one of your listings, neither of you sees the other's name and number unless the request is accepted.

2. What we collect

  • Your account: your name, phone number and email address, from your Google or Apple sign-in or the number you verify.
  • What you add: your clients (including their names and phone numbers), listings, photos, notes, call notes and reminders.
  • Voice: recordings you make to add a client or listing, and the text transcribed from them — see clause 4.
  • Your device: a notification token so we can send you reminders and alerts, an app-integrity check that tells us a request came from the real app, and your phone's make, model, operating-system version and app version so we can help you when something goes wrong. We do not collect your phone's IMEI, serial number or advertising ID.
  • Usage and crashes: which features are used, and error reports when the app breaks, linked to your account ID — see clause 7.
  • Enquiries from your public pages: when someone fills in the form on a listing or business card you shared, we collect the name, phone number and message they enter and add it to your clients.

3. On your phone first, then synced

Ruaab saves everything on your phone first, so it works without a signal. When you are signed in and online, your records are sent over an encrypted (TLS) connection to our servers and stored there, so they survive a lost phone and appear on your other devices.

4. Voice recordings and AI

  • When you hold the button and speak, the recording itself is uploaded to our server and sent to Google's Gemini AI to turn it into text. The text is then sent to Gemini again to pull out details such as name, budget, area and BHK.
  • We do not keep the audio once it has been transcribed.
  • The transcript is saved with the record it created, so you can see what was said. Deleting the record deletes its transcript.
  • While you speak, your phone's own speech recognition (from Apple or Google) may show the words live; that is handled by your phone's operating system.
  • We do not use your recordings or transcripts to train AI models.
  • Google's use: we use Gemini's paid service. Google processes what we send only to provide the service to us, keeps it for a limited time to detect abuse, and does not use it to improve its products.

5. Call log and WhatsApp chats (only if you choose)

  • Call log (Android only, off until you allow it). If you allow it, Ruaab reads your recent calls on your phone. A call with someone who is already one of your clients is added to that client's history. A number that is not already a client is shown to you once and is never saved or sent anywhere unless you tap to add it. Numbers you dismiss are remembered only on your phone. Your call log is never uploaded as a whole.
  • WhatsApp chats you import. When you choose to import a chat, its text is sent to Gemini to pull out the client's details. Only the resulting client record is saved; the chat itself is not stored by Ruaab.

6. Share links and public pages

  • Listings you publish and your business card are public web pages that anyone with the link can see. You choose what you publish, and you can unpublish at any time.
  • For private listings shared with a one-time secure link, we record the date, time, view count and browser type of each visit. This is used only to enforce the one-time and 30-minute rules and to ignore WhatsApp link previews and scrapers — never to profile anyone.

7. Who processes data for us

We use these service providers to run Ruaab. Each receives only what it needs for its job:

  • Google — sign-in, notifications and app-integrity checks (Firebase), and AI transcription and extraction (Gemini).
  • PostHog (servers in the USA) — usage analytics and crash reports, linked to your account ID only. We do not send PostHog your name, your phone number, your clients' details or anything you type.
  • Vercel and Neon — our servers and database. Cloudflare — our website and photo storage.
  • Resend and Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES, Mumbai region) — emails such as your account approval. Razorpay — payments, if you subscribe; we never see your card or UPI details. SMS providers — one-time verification codes.

Some of these providers process data outside India, including in the USA.

8. Deleting your data

  • A single client or listing: deleting it in the app removes it from your phone and from our servers.
  • Your whole account: use Settings → Delete Account. Your account is closed immediately: your name and number are removed from your profile, your public pages go offline and your records are hidden.
  • 30 days after closing, we permanently erase the account and everything in it — clients, listings, notes, reminders, photos and your waitlist sign-up. Until then, a closure made by mistake can be undone by emailing us.
  • Want it erased sooner? Email support@ruaab.app from your account's email address or with your registered phone number.

9. If you are outside India

Ruaab is run from India and is open to brokers in other countries. Wherever you are:

  • Where your data goes. Our database is hosted in Singapore, and the providers in clause 7 process data in other countries, including the USA.
  • Your rights. You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a common machine-readable format, or object to or limit how we use it. Email support@ruaab.app and we will answer within 30 days.
  • Why we use your data (EU, EEA and UK). To run the app you signed up for (contract); to keep it secure and understand which features are used, by account ID only (legitimate interests); and, for the call log and the broker network, because you turned them on (consent), which you can withdraw at any time in Settings. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
  • Your clients' details. When you add a client, you decide what is stored and why; Ruaab keeps and processes it on your behalf. You are responsible for having the right to record your clients' details under the law where you work.
  • California. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

10. Children, changes and contact

  • Ruaab is a tool for real estate professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.
  • If we change how we collect or use data, we will update this page and its date. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app.
  • Who we are: Ruaab is run by Udyak.com, India.
  • Grievance Officer: the founder of Udyak.com, at support@ruaab.app. Write here with questions, corrections, a request to erase your data, or a complaint.
